Very intrigued by this amp. How would you say the Top Boost channel compares to the real deal? Also, coming from a Mark V, how does the Tweed mode compare to the one on the V? I love Mark's Tweed mode and wonder if it's the same circuit. It's different tubes though so don't know how it would...

I've been thinking lately of selling my Mark V since I hardly ever use it to its full potential. It's a beast of an amp and I really don't have anything negative to say about it and in fact, if I sell it, I'm sure I'll buy it again further down the road for my future recording studio. However...

How come everytime I dial in an amazing lead tone, it sounds muddy with little note definition when playing chords? I don't have the amp at home now so I can't give the settings but yesterday I had some great lead sound going on but as soon as I would start playing chords and stuff it just...

You mean the card on top of the amps in the store? If you only want it for the settings I'm pretty sure it's the same examples that are shown in the manual.

Yes it's an Eventide pedal. Yes it has input gain adjustment. Why would they make the loop closer to line level than instrument level? This is a guitar amp for crying out loud. I read somewhere that if you turn the loop level much lower than middle it's gonna take away from the sound :/
