Years ago I had EV 10M's in a blackface Vibrolux. Sounded great but was on the heavy side. EV to my knowledge does not make the 10M's any more.

Sounds like you have a bad relay. You can get them right from Mesa or even Mouser. They are inexpensive and relatively easy to replace. Any decent local tech could do it. Hope this helps!

I have seen some photos of George Harrison playing both a LP and Strat through what appears to be a Mark I. These photos were from about 1974. Does anyone have any info regarding which albums or songs he may have recorded with it? Any info is appreciated!

Bullseye! They have a split/knurled shaft but who cares! I think allparts or WD makes little inserts for the split shaft to make it a solid shaft. Nice one!!!!
