Hey guys.
A friend of mine is selling he's Triaxis, i've never used rack gear before so if please help me out here.
1.- What's the price range for a used but mint triaxis? no mods
2.- Can i use my Rivera Tre as power amp?
3.- Can i switch channels (patches?) without a foot pedal?
4.- Please...
One amp for cleans, rhythm (head and cab)
one for leads (solos) (another head and cab)
both connected with a A/B switch, that allows you to switch between one amp or the other as when you swithch your pedals on/off.
Yes, I'm looking for the class A tone, you know warm, creamy, full and roundend sound for leads.
I had a Roadster, awesome amp! but not class A tone obviously. :(
I'm looking for an amp with the warm tone of the class A but capable of deliver High gain (and i mean real high gain) crushing distortion.
Any suggestions??
Mine did the same thing the first time i got it, i found out that if you have the loop on but no fx pluged to the amp, the sound fade out, so if you have the fx loop on just turn it off (all the switches in every channel on the back panel )
You can try a solo head's footswitch, there is no other footswitch that can do what you want, you can also ask the guys of voodoo amps if they can build one for ya, but it won't be cheaper.
I think your best chance is to get a custom fx board... that would be cheaper and you can order one that...
My roadster pops only when i have the loop and the reverb engaged, if i turn the reverb off, it starts to pop.I had a triple before but never had that problem.
hey man, congrats and welcome 8)
You'll find this amp is a keeper..... i have the head version and right now, i feel this amp is staying with me for a long long time.
Yes, if you max your gain, presence and treble controls you will maximize your preamp distortion and if you turn it up loud enought tou'll be able to rid out of that mosquito buzz, however you'll need an EQ pedal.
A lot of people do this and they throw an EQ in front of the amp so they can have...
