    LSC - Better reverb possible?

Yeah the LSC has the switch. I guess its just like some people like digital reverb some hate it. A lot of people love the reverb on the Blue Angel I think it could be less swooshy. Very subjective even when many would agree the LSC has great reverb. Someones bound to not like it. You can...

    mark IV vs rectifier

I'm not saying the MKIV has no low end. It just isnt Recto low end. No way no how. The MKIV can get heavy in its own way.

    LSC - Better reverb possible?

I always liked the reverb on my LSC better than my Twin. To each his own I guess.

    mark IV vs rectifier

The MKIV wont get the low end of a Recto. The MKIV does however get a smoother lead voice with more sing. What the MKIV lacks in low end it makes up for it in nasty midrange. The MKIV can sound tough.

    Mark III's without Graphic EQs

I've also found while I dont need the EQ is great to have it. If you find a good deal on one without the EQ why not just use an outboard EQ?

Value (and desireability) of a MK III

Could be taste or the condition of the amp. My MKIII has a good clean sound and R2 sounds very good if you leave Vol 1 below 5. The lead sound is killer. Also it does'nt seem to favor types of pickups or positions of pickups. I'd save judgement of the amp until you find one in good working...

    Mark IIB or Mark III?

The MKIII has more low end and sings sooner as you bump up the gain. The MKIV is tighter and offers a more flexability when tweaking each channel.

    Mark IIB or Mark III?

I have a Purple and I would'nt call it tame by a long shot. Since I dont have the other stripes to compare it with maybe I'm missing something. The gain on my MKIII's lead channel is similar to my MKIV. Not that it sounds the same but the MKIV can be pretty brutal. The MKIII can completely...

Value (and desireability) of a MK III

You need a LSC. Thats the ticket in spades. I own a MKIII and a LSC. If you really want Fender type sounds with a little hair on it or more the LSC is hard to beat . The Reverb on the LSC is also very good.

    Got my LSC 1 x 12!!!

Want to have some fun? Channel 2 ,drive on, voicing switch down, run it at 50 watts, gain and lead drive at 2 o'clock, treble at 3 o'clock, mid at 11o'clock, bass at 10o'clock,presence at 3 o'clock. Crank it! Tell me what you think. You might have to fiddle with it a little depending on the...
